Ab sailing
Nervously walking to the huge wall, I saw the sheer face which we were going to be Ab sailing on. As one instructor ascended, the other was telling us that contact was important. Watching the instructor carefully didn’t take much nervousness away because I knew I had to do it soon .
Before I knew it, it was my turn to attempt and conquer the straight wall. Walking up I could almost feel my heart shaking, I was so freaked. Getting to the top depleted my confidence, because ten seconds from reaching the high thing I already had to take my stance on the end of the wall.
My body shook and my shoes slipped I thought the rope was going to snap or something. Going down the wall boosted my self confidence, the more momentum I gained the faster i went down then finally my feet touched the ground.
“Yeah I’m finished”!!! those words screamed inside me.

Mighty Mariners
Achieving the goal to wake up early was a huge challenge, as the morning flew by I saw pt England coming to the horizon. I was excited because it was also the first day of term three, and we were going to have a new topic to learn about. I wondered a little bit on what was the new topic gonna be. Then it struck me, a teacher strolled past me dressed like some kind of pirate. I kind of got an idea but I knew I had to wait for the big assemble to start, but until that came I just waited. We were allowed to enter the hall and try to figure out the topic, not Long later Mr Burt announced that it was Mighty Mariners.

Traveling experience
Arriving at the airport, the jet engines sound throughout the hall. Adrenaline rush is all I fell as the plane gets closer and closer,I look up and glance at the massive machine sitting right in front of me. I wonder am I really going on a plane.
Before I know it I'm stepping foot inside the air craft and taking my last stare at Auckland soil, I'm all strapped in and in the air but I look out the small glass window on the side and see nothing but clouds, floating around in the sky and the painful sun stunning my eyes as the rays continue to burn.
The ferocious engines begin to slow and the plane lower,as the sunsets and where about to move in on the ground. As the doors open I unblock my ears and patiently wait for pedestrians to cross the huge bridge. I head downstairs and examine the rotating carousel. Collecting the bags took ages because there were over one hundred people.
I finally found and retrieved my heavy bags and managed to make it to the exit. I slowly walked out of the door but my sister wasn't there. My brother was waiting for me and my sister, but she was already outside looking for my brother, but he was right in front of me. "Hurry up" he said laughing at my sister .
Ten minutes later and we were at my older brothers house. I thought traveling to Christchurch was a huge experience for me and it was pretty cool.

Tsunami
Tsunamis are a mortal danger, it will completely destroy any one, or thing that steps in the way of the monstrous wave. The number one thing that annoys the tsunami enough to set it off is, the earth quake.

Clevland Cavaliers
Cleavland's all star Lebron James(RIGHT) left the Cavaliers after they lost to the Boston Celtics 85-94. Its unofficial if Lebron James is going to sign with the Los Angela's Lakers. But if he does, the Lakers coach Mike Brown would be extremely happy, and all the Lakers players would be honored, to have play alongside Lebron James as a team member. All the best to him and his next team "come on man LAKERS! LAKERS! LAKERS!".

Physical Education
As I gasped for breathe, my skeleton sustained injuries, hipnotizing me into thinking my bones were going to fracture time and time again . The mortal like game that we were particapating in was code named octopus. The aim of the octopus is to sprint as fast as you can all the way to the other side of the court. Obviously I didnt make it, and because I didnt make it I had to suffer the consequences of being in.But the only thing about being in is you have to sit down and try to touch someone while skittling along the ground.

Rumbling Earth
As earth rotates the plates of the world shift from position all the time. Even though we cant feel the plates moving they travel very slowly forming Earth quakes that create Tsunamis. Earth quakes could even be a sign that a volcano is about to erupt. If a volcano does erupt it would be havoc for a near by town or city. A Earth quake forms mountains cracks and holes in the ground, one part of the earth goes down and the other up, earth quakes, volcanos, and tsunamis are very very dangerous

Why we have a Treaty
Before the Treaty of Waitangi, there were no rules or laws or even police to keep the peace. So thats why there were fights between the Maori and European.
Camp Kindness
"Yay", everyone thought as we began the day with orienteering.
My team name is TLC. Wedesday the 17th of March is the day we start camp! "Yeah". With no doubt in my mind I was sure every one at camp loved everything so far (but no one more than me).
As we raced around to find the next clue some people ran, some walked or even jogged, but who ever was doing it had a little bit of fustration or if not, the happiest feeling in the world in their minds.
We reached our destination and set our compass to where we wanted it, only to find out we have already been to this location. So at the speed of light we sprinted our hearts out and ran to our last location just to hear the sound of Mr J's trumpet sounding through out the whole school.
Coming to the end, our freshly made food became ready as the flame kindly cooked our food for us."Finally" "Eat" "Yay" People shouted out as we ate and swallowed fresh damper straight from the burning hot fire.
But the highlight of the day for me was kayaking, because even if you didn't get to go out on the sea first, you still get to swim in the water, or stay on the land and squish your way past the mud. I waited and waited and finally I got to go out. Once I did I went every where. Twice I almost capsized and fell into the water head first. But luckily I didn't I was able to control myself and the kayak.
Then I returned to the shore to head back to Pt England.

The next thing my group did was camp cooking. But there was a twist- we had to stir the mixture with our hands. So we washed that part of our body under the freezing cold water and returned to marquee for dough mixing. A couple of minutes later we got to cook this delicious food called damper. As we were cooking this food the flame of the fire rose and fell as the wind and rain combined to blow the fire as we cooked.

Captain Cook Comes to NZ
We have been researching what it was like for Captain Cook when he first came to New Zealand. He met a new and strange people, who lived very differently from the way he had been brought up in Britain.
Have a look at what we found out.
